Scent #2: California Dreamin’

This fragrance was born from a jasmine hedge in full bloom. Southern California at its softest, most sun-drenched.
There’s something inspiring about the simple things, a breeze, a bloom, a scent that stops you mid-step. For us, the plumeria is more than a flower - it started as our mascot flower, a symbol of timeless beauty and quiet joy (also our neighbour has a huge plumeria tree that we sometimes "borrow" flowers from) That tree outside our studio has become the backdrop for countless photos, its blossoms a reminder of how beauty can be both casual and unforgettable.
One spring evening, walking through our neighborhood, the air shifted. Jasmine, gardenia, early evening air; it was magic. That’s the moment we bottled here. California Dreamin’ is that soft spell of spring, the kind you wish would stretch on forever.
The scent opens with all the headiness of white flowers, lush and expansive, while staying surprisingly green and fresh. Think lovage, celery, cucumber, and just a hint of gardenia. It’s that kind of cool, dewy brightness you get when the breeze rolls in off the Pacific, and you can practically smell the salt on the air. Then the white florals bloom; jasmine grandiflorum and sambac, ylang ylang, tuberose, lily of the valley. They're lush but never heavy, airy but full of presence.
At the base, vanilla and coconut CO2 create a creamy warmth, while sandalwood and tonka bean bring structure. Musk softens the whole thing like light through curtains.
A scent for spring weddings, open windows, golden light, salty coastal breeze
California Dreamin’ is a rich and complex white floral—heady and green, sun-warmed and salt-kissed. A celebration of jasmine in all its beauty: unruly, radiant, and unforgettable.
